The worst of winter is now behind us. March is here and with it comes countless opportunities for making memories. From St. Patty’s Day shenanigans to March Madness to the arrival of Spring, this month offers us several excuses to celebrate, have more fun…and elevate the everyday!

MARCH 1: National Peanut Butter Lover’s Day

MARCH 2: National Read Across America Day & Dr. Seuss’ Birthday

MARCH 14: The Grammy’s & National Potato Chip Day
There wasn’t much to celebrate on March 13, so we are going to make the 14th twice as nice with double the fun. So kick back to enjoy the 63rd GRAMMY Awards on CBS with a big bowl of America’s #1 snack food, potato chips.
MARCH 15: Bachelor Finale

Are you a loyal member of Bachelor Nation? I have to admit The Bachelor & Bachelorette just so happens to be one of my favorite guilty little pleasures. And I can’t wait to see who Matt James gives his final rose to in the Season 25 Finale airing on ABC at 8:00 pm EST followed immediately by The Bachelor: After the Final Rose.
MARCH 16: National Artichoke Day
Did you know the artichoke is the official veggie of California? Today is a great excuse to enjoy some Spinach and Artichoke dip, plus it allows you to get your green started early for St. Patty’s Day.
MARCH 17: St. Patrick’s Day

MARCH 18: Absolutely Incredible Kid Day
I have to tell you I have never actually heard of this holiday prior to writing this article. However, when I came across it I knew it was something I had to share with you. In honor of Absolutely Incredible Kid Day you are encouraged to write a young person a note letting them know how absolutely incredible they are. You may be surprised by the impact your inspiring words can have.
MARCH 19: March Madness

Thursday March 19 is the official start of the March Madness NCAA Basketball Tournament. Unofficial kick off to the tourney is on Sunday March 14 with the Selection Show. You can expect a little preliminary action on March 18th when the First Four hit the court to earn their spot into the big dance. Make sure your bracket is complete, cheer on your favorite team, and enjoy a whole heck of a lot of basketball for the remainder of the month as the Final Four starts on April 3.
MARCH 20: First Day of Spring

Birds are chirping, the sun is shining, and Spring is officially here. Winter is behind us and it’s time for a little happy dance. The best way to celebrate is to get outside if you can or plan a spring fling. If you ask me, the only thing to not look forward to about Spring’s arrival might be that dreaded Spring Cleaning.
MARCH 21: National Crunchy Taco Day
This is one of those holidays that admittedly I celebrate a little too often. Sorry, not sorry…I love tacos! Taco-bout a Sunday Funday in the making. Head to your fave Mexican restaurant for tacos and margs on the patio to celebrate Spring’s arrival or have Taco night at home. Just be sure you opt for Crunchy tacos today.
MARCH 22: National Goof Off Day
I don’t make the rules friends, but I sure as heck follow them. This Monday gives you the perfect excuse to have a little more fun, celebrate the silly and goof off a little extra. Don’t forget to extend the invitation to everyone in the family.
MARCH 23: National Puppy Day
Celebrate the love of your fave pup today. Go ahead and spoil him or her rotten. Consider shooting and sharing some photos. The day is designed to raise awareness on a cause near and dear to my heart, speak out against puppy mills and spread the message of advocating for pet adoption.
MARCH 24: National Cheesesteak Day
Celebrate Philly’s fave sandwich, now an all time classic. Turn to google to find the best Cheesesteak in your town or order the legendary original classic straight from Philly to your doorstep. The debate is likely to remain unsettled, but I just have to know…how do you like yours, cheez whiz or provolone?
MARCH 25: International Waffle Day

Light and fluffy goodness smothered in butter and syrup…it’s hard to not appreciate the deliciousness of a waffle. Pull out the waffle maker or better yet, head to your fave local breakfast spot. But be sure not to miss this celebration, even if you need to Eggo it because well, Thursday morning obligations.
MARCH 26: National Wear a Hat Day
A fun and fabulous way to raise awareness for brain tumor research.
MARCH 27: National Joe Day
We probably all know one, and poor Joe…he is always just an “Average Joe.” Not today my friends, today is his day. Be sure today you celebrate all the Joes in your life, including a hot cup of joe and maybe even, the Sloppy Joe.
MARCH 28: National Something on a Stick Day
How fun is this? It just seems that somehow, someway, if it’s on a stick it’s better! And this holiday allows you to enjoy that fact with ultimate flexibility. I’m thinking corn dogs, shish kabob, s’mores, popsicles, cake pops, however you choose to celebrate, let your imagination run wild with this one.
MARCH 29: National Mom and Pop Business Owners’ Day
Shop small, shop local and support the small business owner in your life. A fun and free way to celebrate him or her is to shout out your fave small biz owner on social media. They will be appreciative of the extra exposure. (I give you full permission to shout out this website…wink wink).
MARCH 30: Doctors’ Day
Not all superheros wear capes, celebrate the enormous contribution doctors make in our country and show your gratitude and appreciation to the special doctor in your life.
MARCH 31: National Crayon Day

Live colorfully! Grab the family and the box of 64 to create some memories…and masterpieces.
Of course, you may not want to celebrate every single one of these super fun, sometimes silly occasions. But I hope this list will inspire you to pick a few of your faves and have a little extra fun this month. St. Patty’s Day will likely be the highlight of March. But I believe you can spread cheer and joy, create happiness in your home and in your heart when you can celebrate the everyday too!
